Q:  What is the Micro-Bead Method of Extensions?
A:  The Micro-Bead Method uses no glue, bonding, tape or braiding like the methods of the past that are very damaging to your natural hair and scalp.  As one of the first stylists to bring this method to Michigan almost 10 years ago, I have updated the method to create my own specialized technique making it unique to only Elite Extensions. The Elite method of Micro-beading gives a full, natural look that will get you noticed for your beautiful hair.  I love seeing the confidence that having great hair brings to my clients.

Q:  How long do the extensions last?
A:  They last 2-3 months depending on how fast your hair grows. A recommendation will be given to each client at the consultation based on the current health of their natural hair, and styling or processing such as coloring, relaxers, etc.

Q:  How long does it take to apply the extensions?
A:  It can vary, but typically around an hour and a half to two hours. Removal takes only 15-20 minutes.

Q:  Do you use human hair?
A:  Yes, I only use top quality Remy, 100% human hair...no synthetic ever.

Q:  Where can I order the hair?
A:  At your consultation we will evaluate your color and texture to ensure we get a perfect color match.  If I do not have it in stock, I will order it for you.

Q:  Do the extensions come in different lengths, textures or styles?
A:  Yes, there are many different colors and textures.  Also, there are the options of straight, body wave and curly.  Length can be anywhere from 10-24 inches.  Not all clients want to add length to their hair, some just want hair extensions for fullness so we will show you different options so you can make the right choice for you.

Q:  Can I treat the hair extensions as I would my natural hair?
A:  Yes, you can cut, curl, dye, blow-out, and flat iron them just as you would your natural hair.  As with your natural hair, heat and over-processing can damage your extensions because it is human hair.  Keeping your extensions and your natural hair conditioned and protected will ensure that your hair gets noticed for all the right reasons!  An Elite Hair Care Guide is given to all clients, it includes simple tips, techniques and product recommendations for keeping your new hair looking luscious.

Q:  Can the hair be re-used?
A:  Yes, the hair can be re-used 2-3 times if you keep it nice so you will not need to purchase new hair each time unless you want to do so. Clients can choose which hair order schedule they prefer.

Q:  Do you do African American hair?
A:  Yes, we do all hair types and textures.

Q:  Do I need a consultation?
A:  Yes, all potential clients will need a consultation.  At that time we will match your color and texture and determine the best length.  Please come with clean, dry hair and any color done prior so we can get a perfect match for order.  I can also answer any questions you may have as I have worn my Elite Extensions consecutively for almost 10 years now and love them.  Consultations run about 15 minutes and are free.  Should you choose to schedule your extension appointment at that time, you will need to pay for your hair order to hold your appointment.  Cash or Credit only please-we do not accept checks.
